Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VizTrack (the “Service”), including the browser extension and web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VizTrack is an AI-powered job tracking tool that consists of:

  • A browser extension (Chrome and Firefox) that passively captures job listing data from LinkedIn pages you visit
  • A web dashboard for managing your job pipeline, viewing AI relevance scores, and organizing tracked positions
  • AI classification that scores job positions for relevance based on your configurable preferences

3. Account Terms

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

4. Browser Extension Usage

The VizTrack browser extension operates with read-only access to LinkedIn pages. By using the extension, you acknowledge that:

  • The extension reads publicly visible content from LinkedIn pages you actively browse
  • You are responsible for your own compliance with LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • The extension does not automate any actions on LinkedIn — it passively observes pages you choose to visit
  • VizTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with LinkedIn Corporation

5. AI Classification Disclaimer

VizTrack uses artificial intelligence to score job positions for relevance. You understand and agree that:

  • AI relevance scores (1-10) are advisory only and should not be the sole basis for job search decisions
  • AI classifications may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases
  • You can override any AI decision at any time through the dashboard
  • AI models and classification behavior may be updated without prior notice, which may change how positions are scored
  • VizTrack is not responsible for missed opportunities or decisions based on AI scores

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect data in bulk for purposes other than personal job tracking
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the extension or dashboard
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or security measures
  • Use the Service for discriminatory hiring or employment practices

7. Free and Paid Plans

  • The free plan includes 1,000 AI-scored positions per month and core features as described on the pricing page
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

8. Refund Policy

All payments are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax compliance, and refund administration on our behalf.

  • Within 14 days of purchase or renewal: You may request a full refund for any reason. Contact Paddle through the link in your receipt email, or email us at support@viztrack.io
  • After 14 days: Subscription fees for the current billing period are non-refundable. You retain full access to all features until the end of the billing period
  • Service issues: If you experience verified technical issues preventing access to the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours, you may request a prorated refund regardless of timing
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within an active billing period

Refunds are not available for: change of mind after the 14-day window, unused portions of a billing period after cancellation, or accounts terminated for violation of these Terms.

EU/EEA and UK consumers retain statutory withdrawal rights as provided by applicable consumer protection law and Paddle's Buyer Terms.

9. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant VizTrack a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including AI classification and pipeline management).

10. Intellectual Property

The VizTrack name, logo, browser extension, web dashboard, AI models, and all associated code and design are the property of VizTrack. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VizTrack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VizTrack from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the dashboard settings
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable
  • Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VizTrack operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
